Welcome the official release of our 2023 Sangiovese. This is our first Italian Variety for our winery, and we have deep roots that can be traced back to Italy. We are thrilled to finally have this available.
The fruit was harvested at the White Hawk Vineyard. The White Hawk Vineyard is planted on near sand. The proximity to the Pacific Ocean creates perfect cooling and even temperatures. The often-nutrient deficient sandy soils cause the vines to yield wines with greater concentration and intense aromatics.
Rich, Intense, and Savory. On the palette notes of black cherries, dried herbs and spice. It has terrific balanced acidity, silky texture and it transports us back to Italy.
We enjoy pairing this with a bowl of Bucatini Bolognese, or any of the typical slow simmered rich and hearty red pasta sauces.
