"When in Rhône" ...while the Grenache grape originated in Spain, it has become a staple of the Rhône region of France. This medium to full-bodied wine is bright in color and packed with aromas of raspberry, plum, and plush berries. With balanced tannins and medium acidity, our Grenache is a crowd-pleaser for any gathering. We particularly enjoy it chilled in warmer weather!
Our 2021 Caella Grenache Scored 91 Points with Wine Enthusiast. This 2022 Grenache comes from the same vineyard and was made in the same way as the 2021. 50% whole cluster fermented in Neutral French Oak Barrels for 18 months before bottling.
Pairs well with roasted meats and vegetables, stews, heavier game birds (ie turkey) as well as curries and many ethnic foods. We LOVE this with cured meats, or smoked barbecue.
